Jakarta based Saxophonist, Multi-instrumentalist and Composer, Bass G, has been recognised as one of the prominent musicians and instrumentalists of his generation in Indonesia. Branching beyond his specialisation in jazz, his music is greatly influenced by many genres - while still paying homage to the jazz tradition. He aims to bring his visceral vision of music to the broader audiences globally.

Bass G began his musical journey when he picked up his first saxophone at a very young age of 4 under the tutelage of his father. He started with one of the smallest instruments in the saxophone family: the sopranino saxophone. Shortly after, he debuted in a professional performance setting as a part of a saxophone duo with his sibling in 2001, namely Gadiz V and Bass G (G&B). In 2005, Bass G would then collect an award from the Indonesian Records Museum (MURI) as the Youngest Indonesian Professional Male Saxophonist.
